The Nike x Slawn Air Max 90 reimagines one of Nike’s most beloved silhouettes through the lens of UK-based Nigerian artist Slawn. Known for his bold and graffiti-adjacent style, Slawn transforms the Air Max 90 into a wearable canvas, blending street art aesthetics with sneaker culture.
Available in two colorways—black and white—the sneakers feature paint speckle detailing, reflecting Slawn’s expressive approach to design. A hand-painted Swoosh effect further enhances the raw, artistic feel, while embossed cartoonish figures on the heel cap serve as a signature nod to the artist’s surrealist style. Additional graphic references are subtly applied throughout the premium leather uppers, reinforcing the sneaker’s artistic narrative.
Maintaining the Air Max 90’s heritage while injecting Slawn’s non-conformist vision, this collaboration offers a fresh take on a classic silhouette. The Nike x Slawn Air Max 90 dropped at a London pop-up on the March 1st, followed by a global release via select Nike retailers and SNKRS EMEA on April 4th.
