This Years BRIT Award Nominations Have Been Announced

The highly anticipated nominations for the 2025 BRIT Awards were unveiled yesterday, spotlighting a mix of established superstars, emerging talent, and groundbreaking acts that have defined the UK’s music scene over the past year.
With the ceremony set to take place at the O2 Arena in London on March 1st, the BRITs, known for celebrating the best in British music, unveiled a lineup reflecting the industry's eclectic landscape. From pop to indie, rap to R&B, the list features both long-time favourites and fresh faces, making this year’s nominations one of the most diverse in recent history.
This year, Charli XCX and Dua Lipa and Ezra Collective are among the frontrunners, each scoring multiple nominations across various categories.
Among the rising stars, Myles Smith stands out with an impressive number of nominations, as well as already winning the Rising Star category . After a transformative year marked by the success of his single "Stargazing" has earned nods for British Best New Artist and Song of the Year.
Also making waves is Central Cee, who is nominated for Artist of the Year and best Hip-Hop/Rap/Grime Act. His introspective approach to rap, combined with the success of songs like "Sprinter" and "BAND4BAND", has cemented his place as one of the UK’s brightest stars.
While the focus of the BRITs is on British talent, the international acts making waves in the UK are also well-represented. Global superstars like Taylor Swift and Beyoncé received nominations for International Artist of the Year and International Song of the Year, respectively.
The 2025 BRIT Awards are shaping up to be an exciting night of performances, surprises, and unforgettable moments. The winners of the five genre awards will be determined by a public vote exclusively through WhatsApp, which will open on Friday 31st January at 12 midday and close on Friday 14th February at 6pm. To vote, fans can head to the BRITs WhatsApp channel or BRITs socials, to begin the vote on WhatsApp from Friday 31st January at midday.
