The latest collaboration between OTW by Vans and Sterling Ruby’s S.R. STUDIO. LA. CA. presents a bold 7-piece collection of footwear and apparel. Building on February's debut drop, this iteration explores deeper green and gold hues, complemented by rotting jack-o-lantern and monster claw motifs inspired by Ruby’s art practice.
The footwear lineup includes four silhouettes—Old Skool 36, Sk8-Hi 38, and Slip-On 98—featuring OTW Vibram soles, goatskin collar linings, glossy sidewalls, and eco-friendly American cotton. Apparel pieces, including a t-shirt, long-sleeve tee, and hoodie, showcase decomposing pumpkin graphics and Ruby's signature phrase, “ABSOLUTE CONTEMPT FOR TOTAL SERENITY,” drawn from his ACTS sculpture series.
The collection, photographed by Nayquan Shuler and featuring punk band Mannequin Pussy, embodies the raw, artistic energy of Ruby's vision. Available now at otw.vans.com, this release blends fine art with elevated streetwear craftsmanship.
