END.& Adidas Link Up For New 'Laundromat' Capsule Collection
Author: Mark Haddon | Monday 21st October 2024
In their latest collaborative venture, END. and adidas team up once again to unveil the tongue-in-cheek "Laundromat"capsule collection. This limited-edition, three-piece sneaker pack cleverly plays on the familiar mishap of throwing a brightly colored sock into a white wash. Featuring reimagined versions of the iconic Gazelle, SL-72, and Prototype TRX, the collection brings a fresh, light-hearted twist to classic silhouettes.
The standout detail of the "Laundromat" collection lies in its playful use of color and design, symbolizing the stages of a laundry cycle. The SL-72 represents the pre-dyeing stage, dressed in various shades of white with a spacer mesh tongue, giving it a clean, untouched look. The Gazelle, on the other hand, comes with a washed-out aesthetic, blending white and pink suede uppers to mimic the effect of white and red socks in the same load. Lastly, the Prototype TRX, releasing to the public for the first time, features gradient green hues throughout its upper, evoking the mix of whites and greens in the wash.
Each sneaker comes with co-branded detailing, with the END. logo appearing on one heel and the adidas Trefoil on the other, adding a premium, collaborative finish to these vibrant kicks.
A perfect blend of humor and high fashion, the "Laundromat" capsule is a refreshing, creative take on everyday life translated into sneaker culture. If you're looking to add these quirky, color-washed designs to your collection, be sure to enter the draw via END. Launches now.
