Episode two of Link Up TV Originals brand new production sees Kamzo STP and BTB Max give you “The Drop” on all of the latest music, news and culture in the UK scene this past week.

On this episode of The Drop, Chris The Capo reports on the current state of UK Rap, reeling off facts and figures as we catch up with notable figureheads in the music industry as well as online personalities known for giving their opinions on UK music - as they tackle the question “Is Uk Rap in a bad place?”. Quite an interesting topic which lead to split opinion and some interesting insights from the likes of Wretch 32, GRM Daily’s Posty, DJ Semtex Riki Bleau, Yungen and Flashy Sillah.

As we got into the portion of the show where we look at some of the stories that hit the blog pages this week, Made You Think 101 boss AP joined Kamzo in the studio to give his balanced opinion on the backlash Stormzy’s been receiving for his scholarship initiative as well as his thoughts on the music business, the state of UK Rap and his favourite song of the summer.

The General DJ Kenny Allstar also dropped in on us at the studio talk about his brand new project 'The Future’s Yesterday', detailing the concept behind it, his shows and much more; as well as offering up his opinion on the state of UK Rap in recent years as he touches on the “enhancement” of numbers, new tools available and the game becoming about vitality and interesting split that we now experience with music seemingly at 90% marketing and 10% talent from his point of view.
