Headie One unleashes new single '2 Chains.' The North London King of Drill's latest single comes just after the release of June smash 'Pound Signs'.
'2 Chains' is a braggadocious offering that sees Headie One flex his success and dismiss any naysayers. With slick wordplay Headie One rises above the hate whilst crafting witty references to The Weeknd, Viktor Lundberg, Thierry Henry, Ashanti and Kirk Franklin. Featuring production from M1onthebeat and TwinTwo, '2 Chains' is worked around a string-based production that creates an energetic yet ominous vibe and is reminiscent of early Grime music.
The accompanying visuals shot by DAPS maintain an apocalyptic, Call of Duty aesthetic. Based at an abandoned warehouse Headie One flexes his success and wealth against a backdrop of baddies, cars and flamethrowers. With swooping camera angles and dramatic lighting changes the visuals appear cinematic before peacefully panning out to Headie One lyingin the bed he has made for himself, emblazoned with the message 'too loyal for my own good.'
