West London singer, Kamal. has released his new single 'lose', which was written in his bedroom during lockdown. A time which also saw him learn how to play the guitar.

Co-produced by J Moon, 'lose' hears Kamal. focus on the idea of emitting emotion and honesty. Many people will be able to relate to being in a relationship that may not be the best but do it out of love. Even if that isn't the case, because of Kamal.'s ability to tell a story through his lyrics, pairing that with his vocals is something that will help Kamal. stand out from the rest.

Fans don't have to wait very long for the release of new music, as Kamal, is set to release his debut EP, war outside on June 11. It will be interesting to hear what the new releases have in store, especially as his influences in music show a variety in genre.

If you didn't know, Kamal.'s recently collaborated with rapper Dave on the track, 'Mercury'. He's already working with some big names in the music industry, even before he drops his EP.

Racking up around 50 million streams across various platforms just shows the drive that Kamal. has for wanting to make a name for himself in the music industry. This was all done in just 12 months. If he keeps going at this pace, who knows where Kamal. will find himself?
