Aaron Ak drops his brand new six-track project titled 'The Level Up EP'.
Birmingham based rapper, singer and songwriter Aaron Ak has released a cold six-track EP that is certain to impress fans. Originally from London, 27-year-old Aaron is now living in Birmingham. The rapper has been making music for years but has levelled up his pursuit in the past 12 months – releasing freestyles and solid tracks with visuals to match.
Music is a way of communication and connecting with people and that's what Aaron Ak aims to achieve with this project. Each track displays his versatility as an artist showcasing his capability to make great sounding music whether through singing – shown on 'Louder Than Words' – or rapping. The tape is full of witty punchlines, real bars based off of life experiences, slick flows and a plethora of styles – highlighted particularly on 'The Weekend'.
'The Level Up EP' gives fans a true insight into who Aaron Ak is by showcasing the different sides of his personality through a range of musical styles. Opening track 'Keep On Moving' is a combination of his vocal ability as well as being able to spray a sick verse over a wavy instrumental. Whilst 'The Weekend' offers a classic hip-hop style from the beat to the delivery of the bars. It's a refreshing take to hear the artist explore this style of rapping as it's become rare in the UK to find an old-skool hip-hop essence in a track.
This project was a great way for Aaron Ak to showcase his abilities to cover different genres and mix things up with his raps.
The Level Up EP is available to stream now on digital platforms.
