Zeze Millz talks female rap beef and empowerment with Trillary Banks
Author: Danielle Felix | Sunday 13th December 2020
Leicester based rapper Trillary Banks rose to prominence with popular dancehall influenced tracks Come over Mi Yard and White Hennessey. In November she released the Chip inspired Daily Duppy, Shelly Anne, which sparked rap beef with long-established rapper Nolay.
With two big personalities at hand, Millz breaks down the beef and asks the hard-hitting questions, such as whether Banks thinks she won, and her sometimes contradictory feelings on female empowerment in the UK music industry.
In the interview, they also discussed her situation with Dutchaveli in the aftermath of his socials being hacked, her childhood between Jamaica and England, how she wants to be known in the music industry (spoiler alert, it's as the hardest female rapper on the scene) and more.
