Merky Books is hiring!

#Merky Books are officially hiring for a full-time staff member.

The book publisher, owned and created by UK rapper Stormzy, is looking for a new assistant editor to help with their increased workload. As they look to expand their team, they're offering the opportunity to any up and coming writers who are trying to break into the industry.

According to the job advert, #Merky Books are looking for someone who has great time management skills, an excellent eye for detail and a great team player. They promise that no two days will be the same too if you're to join their lively team.

#Merky Books, which was created in conjunction with Penguin Random House, currently houses authors Derek Owusu, Chelsea Kwakye, Ore Ogunbiyi, Hafsa Zayyan, Anthony Anaxagorou and more. Owusu was recently announced as the winner of the 2020 Desmond Elliott prize for his debut novel "This Reminds Me", which was released under the #Merky Books banner.
