North London’s Poshbwoy lays down the lyric video for his brand new track ‘Wagwan My Brudda’, which formally drops on May 15. The track is produced by Jojo F Music, who worked on the top 10 hit “ADVICE” with (‘Deno’ & the late ‘Cadet’).

“Wagwan My Brudda” is a Jamaican phrase for hello my good friend, and the track tells a story of how far Poshbwoy and his friends have come since the days they used to chill on the corner and that they should celebrate their success. Poshbwoy also gives us positive advice for self-love, how to turn something negative into something positive, and to watch out for life’s curveballs in order to reach your goals.

He says this vision was inspired by the birth of his 11-month-old son, Alex. He said: “The birth of my son taught me that I've come a long way from sitting on the corner with my boys back in the day wishing of nice things and that if you work hard and believe you can turn a negative to a positive and achieve your goals in life."

This anthem has the potential to be a summer banger, with its afrobeats vibe - sounding similar to that of a Tion Wayne and Hardy Caprio track. But with the “King Of Hooks” own unique twist. As everyone is in lockdown and the weather’s heating up Poshbwoy seeks to cure those lockdown blues and get you in the summer mood.

He also featured on Original Memzees UK Allstars track which featured Mr Base himself Big Narstie. Due to the buzz around his second single "I Need Love", Poshbwoy's name was circulating around the UK, and the shows demand was at an all-time high which landed him a chance to tour with the likes of Bobby Valentino.

Before you know it you’ll be calling your friends saying “Wagwan My Brudda how’s Life?”
