V9 returns with new track ‘Right Or Wrong’, featuring fellow Homerton rapper KO.
Colliding two of the district’s most exciting, compelling young rappers, ‘Right Or Wrong’ sees V9 & KO go back to back with quality control levels on a hard hitting drill beat produced by Es The Producer. The duo have previously collaborated on tracks Andy & Dwight and Low Cross it’s evident that their lyrical talents align.
Known for his technical lyricism and eccentric flow, there’s more to the mask than the eye meets where V9 is concerned.
With his debut EP Homerton Sensei dropping last year and his upcoming new body of work ‘Yudokuna’ due late this month, V9 continues to set the agenda, working locally alongside rappers Unknown T and KO under the #Homerton banner.
The creative visuals shot by Groundworks successfully illustrate an iconic scene where V9 encompasses the attributes of Marvel anti-hero – Deadpool showing his love for cereal dressed in Deadpool’s colours of choice.
There are also references to well-known movie and video game franchises such as The Matrix and Grand Theft Auto via the use of special effects.
Amidst early support from Mad About Bars and Tim Westwood it’s looking like a huge year for V9 as he levels up.
