Thousands of Vodafone and 02 users unable to make calls due to network issues

Customers of 02 and Vodafone have reported problems regarding their network. It is reported that more than 5,000 02 customers have filed a complaint about their signal dropping and being unable to connect to the internet.
It is still unclear as to why the outages have happened, but according to Downdetector, it is having an impact on 02 and Vodafone customers across the UK. 02 have addressed the problem and have confirmed that its technical teams are investigating.
The network provider has said: “We’re aware of an issue impacting some voice calls. Our technical teams are investigating.”
“We apologise for any inconvenience. Updates will be shared here as soon as they are available."
