Boris Johnson has been discharged from hospital

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been discharged from hospital after being admitted due to persistent coronavirus symptoms. Although he has been discharged, he will not be returning to work yet as he is continuing to recover from the virus, according to Downing Street.

After almost a week at St Thomas' Hospital, including time in the intensive care unit, Johnson will now recuperate at his country retreat in Buckinghamshire.
