One third of Brits think police are going ‘too far’ with lockdown rules

A YouGov poll asked 1,646 adults for their views on the police’s handling of the lockdown rules. In the poll, which ran from Friday-Sunday, 32% (527) said they felt the government had gone too far in certain instances.
It also showed that 72% of participants would be happy with police arresting someone disobeying the rules, whereas 22% voted otherwise.
