A supermoon is to appear late tonight and in the early hours of Wednesday.
It is the largest the moon that will appear all year.
The moon will peak at around 3:30 am tomorrow morning, however experts claim it will look its best at 7:15 pm this evening, sporting an orange glow.
Professor Tim O'Brien, professor of astrophysics and associate director of Jodrell Bank Observatory, said: "In fact, the most obvious factor affecting the apparent size of the moon is actually an optical illusion where the moon looks bigger when it is nearer the horizon."
Make sure you’re looking out of an east-facing window or garden to see it this evening.
