Despite social distancing coming into play last Monday, warehouses like JD remain open to send goods online and carry on manufacturing for stores. Staff have complained about treatment at the JD warehouse in Rochdale.
Allegedly, there is a lack of social distancing and hand sanitisers. One staff member at the warehouse stated that social distancing techniques were 'not possible' due to the nature of the warehouse.
It has also been stated that there is a lack of compassion for people who need to take leave due to being personally affected by Coronavirus. JD has stated that the "health, safety and wellbeing" of its staff was a priority.
