Wretch 32 headlines at ‘MTV Brand New for 2012’

MTV presents Wretch 32 & Brand new for 2012 in Camden on Thursday 1st of December 2012. Wretch 32, real name Jermaine Scott has proven to be the best creative lyricist who used his underground talent to climb into the mainstream charts; releasing number one album Black & White.
The Director of Talent and Music programming for MTV, Matt Cook stated:
“After having such a great year, we’re absolutely delighted to welcome back our 2011 nominee Wretch 32 to kick-start the launch of this year’s ‘Brand New’ at Koko.” 
On the night, they will exclusively announce the  MTV Brand New list for 2012, with performances from two nominees: elective collective Clement Marfo and The Frontline who have supported mainstream acts such as Pixie Lott, Dizzee Rascal and Florence and The Machines; and Londoner, R&B singer Angel who posses unique soulful vocals and rapping, and has collaborated with Giggs, Sneakbo and has maximum support from BBC radio host Trevor Nelson, alongside the rest of scene, labelling him as the one to watch for next year.
