Why it’s time to start slut shaming The Game (It’s cool, it’s what he wants)

Before ever talking about The Game it always feels necessary to state The Documentary is a hip hop classic. (Regardless of how much help he may have had in making it) But really Documentary came out 12 years ago, it’s 2016 and The Game is a slut.

Actually a proud hoe, and for too long this man has been getting away with truly astonishing hoe shit that a woman would be dragged all over the internet for. Websters dictionary defines a whore as: ‘a man or woman who has sex for money.’ Or even just ‘An unscrupulous person.’

The Game will employ any number of hoe tactics to keep his name out there. Exhibit No.1: August 2015 – 35-year-old rapper The Game takes his EIGHTEEN year old girlfriend to the park. What follows is NSFW, pornographic, sickening and just plain nasty. So firstly a trigger warning: And now:

You knew this was coming; yeah it’s gross, but more importantly thirsty as Hell. And while The Game consistently denies the stripper rumours (that really have little evidence) isn’t this almost literally what a stripper does?

So yes, The Game can rap. But let’s not pretend anyone loses their mind when he does. He’s a standard rapper, maybe above average in a time filled with Young Thugs and Future’s; but even still there’s rarely been a time everyone lost their mind over a Game verse much less a song. So when we talk about the Kim Kardashian’s and Amber Roses’, they are slut shamed because ‘they don’t do anything’. Well The Game hasn’t done anything particularly great in the last 10 years and really is The Game in anyone’s top 5? 10? Definitely 20 right? Right? Well that’d certainly explain why he has to do things like this then.

Before we discuss the final aspect of The Games’ hoeness, cast your mind back a decade or so. Pre reality TV, where strippers became TV stars and Instagram was a career path. How many times would a glamour model sell a story on a famous footballer? ‘My Night Of Passion With (famous early 00’s name). This would make said model famous for all the time it takes to turn the page and then she would fade into obscurity.

And who can forget this unbelievably awkward moment on ‘Never Mind The Buzzvocks’ with Pay As U Go/East Connection’s Maxwell D?

And these people are rightly given Hell. Because it is thirsty, it’s desperate and yes bills are bills but self-respect is important. So what could we have expected upon hearing The Game was due to appear on the Wendy Williams show?

Well the 11 minute interview features a whole minute and a half dedicated to actually talking about the album he’s promoting and the rest is the (yawn) Meek Mill beef and talking about the Kardashians.

In fact the title of the video and the whole point of the interview and even why he got the interview in the first place is: ‘How Many Kardashians Has The Game Slept With?’ Not ‘The Game Talks About Exciting New Album’ or even ‘The Game On Meek Mill Beef’ no, apparently the most interesting thing about RAPPER The Game is who he’s sleeping with.

So the Kardashian’s run a train on The Game and he’s on a talk show bragging about it? Yes, if nothing, that’s hoe shit.

In all honesty The Game’s social media thirst is just indicative of the way everyone is today. Desperate to turn 15 mins into 30. By creating ‘comedy’ videos, jumping on challenge bandwagon and performing all manner of insane, humiliating, degrading stunt for some retweets. Really it’s shocking that more rappers don’t go further, but you’d think with all The Game’s success he would let his music do the talking as opposed to ‘slutting’ it up constantly.
