Giggs Finally Shares The ‘Landlord Tour Movie’

Giggs, creator of the UK’s national anthem “Talking da Hardest” released his fourth solo album earlier this year on August 5th. The album titled Landlord was released through his independent label SN1 Record peaking at No.2 on the UK album charts, his highest charting album. Following the success of the album, Gigg’s later announced he’d be having a headline show for the project. For those that don’t know, this was a very big deal because as one of the gatekeepers of the UK music scene, Giggs was once blackballed by the industry. For years he’s had tours cancelled and was harassed by law enforcement but has continued to create his own lane with SN1 entourage supporting him.

Well, Giggs certainly continues to push boundaries and maintain success as his Landlord tour sold out in all four cities he was set to perform at. The tour kicked off at the O2 Ritz arena in Manchester on 17th April, Glasgow O2 ABC on the 18th, Norwich UAE on the 19th and then finishing off with a huge headline show at London’s Eventim Apollo to conclude the tour. The Landlord Headline Show featured a range of other prominent UK artists including Skepta, JME, Kano, Young Teflon and Gunna Dee among others.

For those who weren’t able to score tickets to the tour, don’t worry because the people’s champion has bought us the ‘Landlord Tour Movie’. The movie is directed by Myles Whittinham and Rashid Kasirye, which offers his fans to visually follow him on the sold out tour from beginning to end.

The film is filled with live performances of songs from his Landlord album while also mixing backstage footage, rehearsal, interviews with his friends, and narration from the Landlord himself.
