Harry Shotta drops in for interview with DJ Dubl

Harry Shotta is the latest guest for DJ Dubl’s youtube channel DJDUBLTV.

They discuss the video that went viral of the illegal rave on the London Underground that Harry Shotta MC’d for back in April.

Harry also discusses the unity and support that Drum & Bass MC’s have for each other, and why he went from making Hip Hop to Drum and Bass in the first place but also how he was called out by fans for making dubstep.

He talks about the divide in Hip Hop, and how he loves all the styles in that genre, and listening to old classic 90’s Hip Hop but also enjoying more recent Hip Hop from Future and Kendrick Lamar.

Shotta also speaks on listening to all styles, including Dance Hall, Garage, Jungle music, too. He speaks on being nick named the Bruce Lee of MC’s, for studying all the different styles.

Harry Shotta also talks about winning 10 Drum and Bass awards through public vote, and explains he is working on both a mixtape AND an album, right now! They also speak about his degree in Commercial Music.

DJ Dubl also asks him about his most recent Fire In The Booth verse to where it seemed like he was sending for Chase and Status.

They also discussed the recent world record that Harry achieved, after taking the title from rap legend Eminem!

As usual, DJ Dubl sets a relaxed environment where it’s more like a friendly chat than an interview, and he asks great questions and the conversation between these guys flows really naturally.

I really enjoy watching DJDUBLLTV and his videos, make sure you watch the video and subscribe to his Youtube channel, and keep an eye out for all the exciting things that Harry Shotta has lined up.
