D’One releases clean VHS style visuals for ‘Hypocrites’

D’One is an artist that has been showing a flair for melodies as his name has been mentioned with other artists such as M Huncho (understandable, given their collaboration on last year’s ‘On Top’) and Yung Fume, given their shared ability to use Autotune to aid their raps and create bangers in the process. Just last month, he released his debut project ‘This Wasn’t Expected’ was released to warm praise as he impressed across 10 tracks with one solitary feature in storied grime artist Maxsta. D’One has just released the video to ‘Hypocrites’, one of the more prominent tracks on his debut project.

The Mike Banks produced record has a nostalgic feel to it given its cinematic shots that have been graded to look like it is an old school VHS video as he goes from playing FIFA with the mandem and shelling down shows to doing press interviews and flying down the motorway.

D’One’s playful but catchy delivery comes off as he reflects on doing things different, stacking his money high and his hopes to one day have a family of his own as we are treated to backdrops of the gorgeous Eiffel Tower in Paris, France. The Teeeezy C directed video does well to complement the track as it follows previous videos such as ‘Swervin It’, ‘Overdose’ and ‘Clued Up’.
