Big Narstie creates a movie with video for ‘5AM’

Recently, Big Narstie has become a household name as he has carved out a lane for himself as a entertainment personality. Big Narstie who hails from South London, became a sensation with his humorous television appearances, so much so that he was given a show on Channel 4 called The Big Narstie Show, which was co-hosted by Mo Gilligan.

But to those that have followed grime music from its early days, they will know Big Narstie as an artist who made a name for himself with his use of humour in his music. With all eyes on him, Big Narstie has just released the video for 5am a track that’s on his latest project BDL Bipolar. 5am features afrobeats singer Moelogo who sings on the hook.

5am is directed by Dego Visionz and Roger Russell. The video starts off with drug dealer Terrence Williams being interrogated by police and being threatened with a lengthy sentence if he does not snitch on his fellow drug dealers. Terrence doesn’t say whether he will or not snitch, but his behaviour suggests that he wouldn’t. Following his tense deal with the police, Terrence calls up a friend who agrees to arrange a drug deal. Things take a dramatic turn for the worse as police bust into the house of Terrence’s drug dealing accomplice and arrest his girlfriend. The cinematic video coupled with Big Narstie’s storytelling and Moelogo’s vocal make a compelling song with visuals to match.
