Ambush, Frank Ekwa and Fumez The Engineer are on the ‘Same Grind’ in new project

Fumez the Engineer is on the verge of releasing his new mixtape and the first single to receive visuals features two talents from North West London’s Camden sides – rising star Ambush and fellow Buzzworl Ent artist Frank Ekwa.

Apart from being booked and busy working with artists across UK music scene, Fumez The Engineer is also behind Link’s Up’s Mic Check segment. After his project “The Mixtape” released in 2016, he’s now ready to offer us a second one and by the sounds of it, you’ll definitely want to keep an eye out for this one.

North West London had been keeping UK’s music scene lit this year with Ambush’s single Jumpy having reached tremendous success, followed by an even more popular remix that featured fellow artists Skepta and Chip. His latest single Man Can’t, released only just a month ago, is already coming close to two million views. Frank Ekwa has been present in the scene for quite some time now, getting everyone’s attention with his Mixtape Madness freestyle released earlier this year. His unique Caribbean infused flow is the perfect addition to Same Grind as it blends in perfectly with Ambush’s signature raw, cheeky sounding bars and bodies the hook.

The clean cut Etim Exkluse visuals capture the artists patrolling the streets of Camden, while Frank Ekwa brings out his flow in what seems to be an abandoned chapel. The video has a vet interesting twist to it, playing on the title’s name.

There is no deny, the project could not have turned out any better. Make sure you watch the video out now via Link Up TV and also keep an eye out for Fumez’s upcoming mixtape. Let us know what you think of Same Grind in the comment section below or via our social media channels.
