It’s easy to feel helpless when an awful tragedy happens that affects so many people. It has been inspiring to see the city of London come together and help the victims of the Grenfell Tower Fire. Donations of clothes, money and food have been overwhelming and a true sense of community has shone through in light of this horrific incident.

Trapstar, a London based clothing brand, is also doing their bit to help the people affected by the fire. They are releasing a t-shirt created specifically to commemorate the Grenfell Tower fire with all proceeds being donated to help and support the victims of the tragedy. So, if you are still looking for a way to donate or show your support in some way, this is the perfect opportunity.

As soon as the fire happened, Trapstar posted a photo expressing their condolences and promising to do everything in their power to help. One of the co-founders of the brand, @mikeytrapstar shared on Instagram how the tragedy hit close to home as he was brought up in government housing. He also stated that he and his team would continue to support the cause through other events and charities. It is reassuring to know that brands such as Trapstar are utilising their global platform to help causes such as the Grenfell Tower fire as it offers an opportunity for younger generations to contribute.

Shortly after the fire happened, an interview on the BBC with a young man went viral after he spoke some real truths about what he thought about the fire. His anger was obvious and was a feeling we could all relate to. Piki Seku, the guy in the video, was wearing a Trapstar tee, so whether this encouraged Trapstar to take action is unknown. You can watch the full interview here.
