Stormzy Set To Make Acting Debut On BBC1’s Noughts And Crosses!

It’s become apparent to us all that Stormzy is so much more than just a Grime MC. The South London-raised star has built a huge profile for himself, most notably following the release of his debut album, Gang Signs & Prayer, and he has no plans of slowing down.

Following the success of his debut album, the UK superstar has since gone on to create his own Festival, Publishing House, and with so much opportunity in front of him right now, Big Mike has now taken the jump to kick start his career as an actor.

It was announced today, March 21, that Stormzy has joined the cast of BBC One’s highly anticipated drama Noughts And Crosses, a Mammoth Screen adaptation of Malorie Blackman’s award-winning young adult book series which is currently being filmed in South Africa.

Stormzy will be taking the role of playing a newspaper editor who goes by the name of Kolawale, a character which was created for the TV series.
