Popular music streaming platform, Spotify, has released posthumous Mac Miller Live tracks under ‘Spotify Singles’.

The music community was devastated when the 26-year-old singer, rapper, and producer Mac Miller, real name Malcolm James McCormick, passed away in September of this year. This was due to an accidental drug overdose.

The two tracks he released were ‘Dunno’ from Swimming, his fourth studio album, and a cover of Billy Preston’s 1974 ‘Nothing from Nothing.’ The tracks were performed solo with him playing piano in the studio.

Muscians played tribute to the young artist at a tribute concert in L.A at the end of October titled Mac Miller: A Celebration of Life. The concert saw artists like SZA, Chance the Rapper, Anderson .Paak and Travis Scott perform. A video was shown of Miller blowing out candles as a toddler, his love of music and his rise to fame.

Both tracks are emotionally fueled, beautiful songs and hopefully may bring a little comfort to his grieving family, friends, and fans. Check out the tracks via ‘Spotify Singles’.
