Powered by young people and supported by industry professionals, PlatformLDN a growing youth agency specialising in supporting emerging artists. They are currently working with This Is SohoCarnaby and Sister PR to plan and run some events throughout June as part of Soho Music Month.

Soho Music Month will feature events, panels and content from the likes of BBC 1Xtra’s DJ Target, Steel Banglez, Ashley Walters, Kojo Funds and many more.

Head to 3 Carnaby Street throughout June for PlatformLDN’s unique exploration of youth and street culture through the decades from their evolving hub space open 7 days a week.

They’ve already had ‘Red Bull Music Presents: Locked In Locked On’ and ‘Red Bull Studios #NormalNotNovelty’ which took place this evening, but keep an eye out for the rest of this month below….

Sunday Sessions
Ashley Walters Presents: KINGDOM
24th June – 12-9pm

From Bullet Boy To Bullet Proof – ahead of his new Sky 1 drama, multi award-winning actor, and rapper Ashley Walters charts his rise from prominent musician to prominent actor and curates an extra special day of workshops, screenings and panel discussions with some of the UK’s top Black British actors. The day will round-up with the KINGDOM MONOLOGUE JAM with exclusive performances by students from the acclaimed Kingdom Drama School, co-founded by Walters and award-winning producer Najan Ward.

Jumpin Jack Frost Sunday Session
10th June – 12-6pm

10th June sees a celebration of the release of legendary jungle DJ and genre pioneer Jumpin’ Jack Frost’s autobiography ‘Big, Bad and Heavy.’ PlatformLDN will host an exclusive book signing and 25-year anniversary celebration for V Recordings, featuring special guests, plus family and friends from V’s past.

Music Industry Panel with Catalyst Management
13th June – 6-9pm

Artist managers Guv Singh & Nim Jani give an insider’s perspective into the music industry, and will be joined by artists from their roster for a Q&A.

F & Y presents: The Tape – Paying homage to the sounds and influence of Afro Swing on London culture
15th June – 6 – 9pm

UK based management company and home to the likes of Kojo Funds, curate an exciting evening of panels and performances, featuring artists from their first mixtape project “The Tape”, exploring the evolution of Afro Swing’s and Afro Bashment into a new London sound.

Reprezent Radio Week Takeover
Week beginning 18th June (various times)

Youth-led Brixton based radio station Reprezent takes up residency in Carnaby with a week of broadcasts live and direct, featuring London’s burgeoning underground stars – expect interviews, studio drop-ins from very special guests and more.

Catalyst Management; Steel Banglez & Swifta Beater Workshops
19th June – 6-9pm

Steel Banglez and Swifta Beater deconstruct their tracks, discussing the creative process and delivering an interactive production tutorial.

Newburgh Quarter Sessions: NME Emerging x Tunecore Talent Showcase
21st June – 5-9

If that wasn’t enough, PlatformLDN take over the Newburgh Quarter’s iconic ‘Plug’ for an outdoor music session on 21st June from 5 – 9pm, celebrating the diversity of London’s music scene with an emerging talent competition in association with NME and Tunecore.
