Mr Eazi Concert Review | @mreazi

Mr Eazi
You know Life Is Eazi when you can casually shut down your first London concert… Last week, rising Afrobeats star Mr Eazi did just that.
From signing to Wizkid’s Starboy Worldwide label to killing the scene with back to back infectious melodious RnB and Afrobeats fused songs, it was time to show and prove that no games were being played out here.
Held at the O2 Forum and hosted by Fuse ODG’s DJ Naijaboi, the concert boasted queues stretching all the way back to the end of the street so we weren’t the only ones gassed to see the show. Obviously…
Opening acts included Starboy label affiliate Maleek Berry who came out on a hype with his Wizkid monster hit ‘Back To The Matter’ before performing his latest single Kontrol which got the crowd all the way turnt!
From an array of hot dance acts to anthems coming through from DJ Juls set during intervals, there wasn’t a moment of calmness to be had.
Mr Eazi
Finally, it was time for the main man himself to grace the stage. Anticipating surprises, we eagerly shoki’ed our way through his entrance and from ‘Annointing’ which features Sarkodie to his solo banger ‘Hollup’ performed as well as interesting stage outfits (the shirtless x hat on the back look was our fave) there wasn’t much more fans could’ve asked for.
As if we weren’t being spoiled enough, “This is a brand new song” The skin tight singer announced before performing it. Titled ‘Business’ the song is another love story from the Afro RnB favourite. Yes, we were swooning too.
The adorable Geko came through as well with a vibrant, energetic and entertaining performance of his latest single ‘Y’. The North African British artist is a mixture of all our fave Grime and Afrobeats vibes. Cheeky as ever, he entertained fans telling them how “black girls give attitude” Everybody was laughing including us.
One of the biggest songs coming through this year has to be Eugy ft Mr Eazi ‘Dance For Me’ so you know the entire Forum lost it when Eazi brought Eugy out to perform the it.
Closing the concert with unarguably his most popular song to date ‘Skin Tight’ nobody wanted the concert to end. A night filled with good vibes, live music from the best in the scene and a crowd more turnt than ratchets at carnival, take a bow Mr. You made it look Eazi…
