Migos secured their first number 1 with ‘Bad and Boujee’

We’re sure by now you have heard that Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino won a Golden Globe for his hit show Atlanta and that during his acceptance speech he gave a shout out to Migos and thanked them for making their song Bad and Boujee. Migos actually made a cameo appearance in one of the episodes of the award winning comedy series.

It seems that Glover’s light hearted acceptance speech and what was seen as a small gesture by some actually turned out to be the catalyst for Migos song ‘Bad and Boujee’ to be propelled to number one in the US charts. Glover said on Sunday night after his show won the award for Best Musical or Comedy TV series “I really want to thank Migos, not for being in the show but for making Bad and Boujee, that’s like the best song ever”.

According to sources the views for the song have increased by more than 10 million since Glover’s speech and streams have also risen by over 200%. This is definitely one for the culture.

RESPECT @donaldglover_
