Meet the producers behind Mist’s ‘Diamond In The Dirt’ EP

2017 was a groundbreaking year for Birmingham rapper Mist. Today marks the release of his sophomore EP ‘Diamond In The Dirt’

The EP is a solid body of work and sets the tone for Mist in the rest of the 2018 – it’s looking like a huge year. Consisting of 9 tracks, Diamond In The Dirt has some killer features from the likes of Jessie Ware, Mr Eazi, Haile, MoStack and more. It’s clear that Mist put a lot of time and thought into creating great music and as well as the various features, the production on the EP is insane. So, it’s only right we meet and pay homage to the geniuses behind the sound of Diamond In The Dirt.

Steel Banglez

And if there is one man who is deserving of extreme credit it’s super-producer Steel Banglez. Standing as the executive producer of this project, Steel Banglez sets production levels high working his magic on Dreams to Reality, On It ft. Nines, Uber ft. MoStack, Game Changer, Display Skills ft. Mr Eazi and Fekky and Order It In ft. Notes.

Swifta Beater

Also repping for Birmingham, our recent #ProducerOfTheMonth Swifta Beater provides a hand in the production of track 3 ‘Uber’ featuring MoStack and ‘Moshpit’ which are both set to go offff!

Zeph Ellis

Zeph Ellis also known as Dot Rotten has steadily been building his production portfolio and he too sprinkled his magic over ‘Uber’ alongside Banglez and Swifta.

Having previously worked with artists such as Geko, Krept & Konan, Tion Wayne and more, Hazard produced Mist’s huge track with Jessie Ware ‘Wish Me Well’ as well as ‘Fountain’ featuring Haile. “I got hold of Mists email address and was was sending beats through for 7 months until him and Steel Banglez got in contact with me. From there we started working on projects for Diamond In The Dirt.” he explains.
