Kanye West has announced, via Twitter, that we can expect a sequel for Watch The Throne [soon]. Watch The Throne was his and Jay-Z’s collab album, released in 2011. The LP was a masterpiece and featured huge tracks like No Church in the WildNiggas in Paris and Otis. The album was a huge success spending 62 weeks in the charts, and ranked second in the highest grossing hip-hop tours, after Drake and Future’s Summer 16 tour.

Some are surprised about the announcement of a new collab album, as the pair have had beef since the LP dropped in 2011, including public dissing and calling each other out in their music. Kanye stated in 2016 that there would never be another Throne album due to music platform issues, which ultimately pushed Jay and Kanye apart.

Regardless of their previous beef, we are happy that they’ve put everything behind them and have no doubt made some more amazing music. Stay tuned on Kanye’s twitter to catch the release date.
