Kanye West features mugshot of his late mother’s surgeon on new album cover

There is no denying that Kanye West has had an eventful week on Twitter, exposing thoughts many never knew he had. One in particular, was leaking his album cover as the person named Jan Adams, a surgeon who performed his mother’s final medical procedure before her death in November 2007.

On Saturday April 28th, Mr. West posted screen-shots of text exchanges between himself and Wes on his Twitter account stating an explanation of his choice to use a photograph of the surgeon on his upcoming album.

In addition to posting the screenshot of messages, he attempted to make clear that he would no longer want to portray hate against the doctor and instead show love and forgiveness. Donna West, who died in 2007, passed away a day after undergoing surgery performed by Adams himself.

After losing a large quantity of followers within the past week of his twitter frenzy, Kanye still ensured to speak out to those who remain following him with some words of advice. He prioritised spreading love instead of hate in a process of healing.

It was said that the rappers mother died of “coronary artery disease and multiple post-operative factors due to or as a consequence of liposuction and mammoplasty”.

West’s new 7-song album will be released on June 1 accompanying his joint album with Kid Cudi, titled Kids See Ghosts, on June 8. With reference to how open Kanye has been over social media, there is no doubt that real exposure of the controversy that surrounded the link between Dr. Adams and Donda’s death will be explained further through his forthcoming album.
