#INTERVIEW PartyNextDoor talks ‘Seven Days’, UK collabs and more!

After the successful ‘Seven Days’ project that came out at the end of September in 2017, and ahead of his ‘Infinity’ tour, Link Up TV were given the opportunity to catch up with Canadian rapper, singer song writer and producer PartyNextDoor ahead of his tour!

Check out what he had to say below:

What was the concept behind ‘Seven Days’?
To make seven different songs in seven days.

Why did you decide to only feature Rick Ross on ‘Seven Days’?
I admire his work ethic, and how broad he is as an artist.

Do you know of any UK artists and if so what do you think and would you ever do a UK collaboration?

One of the first artist I admired when I started producing and songwriting was James Blake. Specifically the song “Limit To Your Love”. Of course! James Blake.

Apparently fans have said that there was a lack of R&B and Hip Hop representation at the Grammys? What’s your thought on that?
There were only 2 or 3 R&B albums that dropped this year and more rap was represented culturally in 2017. 2018 will be a lot different, watch.

You’re performing at Wireless this year, what have we got to look forward to?
Me having as much fun as I can on stage. I love wireless, and I love performing at Wireless.

What can we expect from you for 2018?
More Music, More Sounds. It’s a secret.

As a big fan of PartyNextDoor and James Blake, that is one collaboration I would love to see happen! Big up the Infinity tour, and the ‘Seven Days’ project from PartyNextDoor, we can’t wait to see him again at Wireless!
