Could this be Stormzy’s next collaboration?

So far this year Stormzy’s worked with a number of chart heavy weights including the likes of Ed Sheeran, Linkin Park and Little Mix – and the Croydon lad might just have another one on the way. Grammy Award winning electropop group Clean Bandit seem to be keen on getting in the studio with the Grime artist after band member Grace Chatto stated in an interview “It would be great to do something with Stormzy. We’ve kind of spoken about it a bit and he seemed up for it at the time. So I’m hoping we can find a time to get together in the studio”.

This could be the latest collab for the group who have worked with Sean Paul and Annie Marie on Rockabye which took up the number 1 spot in the charts for seven consecutive weeks as well as their 2015 hit single Rather Be with Jess Glynne. Given that Clean Bandit¬†have sold over 13 million singles and 1.6 million albums worldwide, this collaboration is bound to be a hit and could mean even more chart success for Stormzy who’s already made history with his critically acclaimed debut album Gang Signs and Prayer which is the first ever grime album to reach number one with all 16 tracks from the album appearing in the UK Singles Chart at the same time.
