Irish boxer and mixed martial artist, Conor McGregor, has been arrested after he allegedly smashed the phone of a fan who was after a photograph.

The fan and McGregor were leaving a Miami hotel when the fan asked for a picture from the Ultimate Fighting Championship boxer. McGregor allegedly slapped the phone out of the fan’s hand and stood on it, ultimately leaving the phone broken and smashed.

McGregor then allegedly walked away with the phone, leaving the fan without it altogether. The boxer was then arrested on charges of strong-armed robbery and criminal mischief. This is added to McGregor’s previous criminal charges, including assault, attempted assault and criminal mischief including a fight between himself and fellow boxer Khabib Nurmagomedov, which left the Irish champ with a hefty $50,000 fine.

McGregor’s attorney states that the Irish boxer “appreciates the response of law enforcement and pledges his full co-operation.”
