Rest in Peace to a great actor Christoper Boykin aka ‘Big Black’. Chris was the other half  of Rob Dyrdek’s popular show ‘Rob & Big’.

Officials state Chris died yesterday morning but there has been no official cause of death yet, however several people connected to Chris believe it could of been a heart attack.

The two had a great relationship throughout the show, Chris was Rob’s best friend and bodyguard and it was funny yet warming to see two different characters coming together to do the complete abnormal. Most of the episodes featured a central talk or event in the daily life of Rob and Big, such as; skateboarding, attempting to break Guinness world records, not forgetting Rob’s huge obsession with his net gun.

The show followed the duo daily and the things achieved (or not), were hilarious. The pair continued acting onto ‘Fantasy Factory’, which was a space to focus more on them as individuals, but yet still maintaining their great friendship.

MTV spoke on his passing and said “MTV is deeply saddened to learn the news of Christopher ‘Big Black’ Boykin’s passing, he was a long time and beloved member of the MTV family and will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends at this time.”

Before starting his acting career Chris served in the U.S Navy, he also started his own clothing line named ‘Do Work’ after his famous catchphrase. Fans took to social media to share their thoughts and it’s nice to see he had such a huge impact on many people’s childhood.

Rest In Peace big man!
