ARTICLE WRITER/BLOGGER

About the role: An opportunity to work with one of the UK’s leading online media channels, Link Up TV. In order to be considered for this position a candidate must demonstrate the ability to be able and willing to contribute regularly to a rising website for a company which is gaining new followers everyday.We’re looking for ambitious, committed and enthusiastic individuals with an extensive knowledge of UK music/entertainment, who are passionate about the industry and are willing to commit to writing and blogging regularly for our website.Typically, a candidate will be expected to provide written content for our website daily. Candidates can specialise in news writing, review writing and/or blogging the latest visual content available on the internet. The ideal candidate will be well-organised, able to work to deadlines, communicate well and provide well-written work on a regular basis. Candidates must be able to prioritise, work efficiently and be readily available to liaise regularly with the management team.

Candidates must have written work for viewing. Acceptable examples include: personal blogs, pieces written for websites/blogs, pieces written in leisure and/or any other written work which is relevant to the role.

In order to be considered for this position a candidate must demonstrate the ability to work in the dynamic environment of the media industry; experience in the industry is preferred but not necessary.

We’re looking for an ambitious, committed and enthusiastic individual with an extensive knowledge of UK music/entertainment, who is confident, committed and organised.

Typically, a candidate will be expected to lead our writers’ team. Day to day responsibilities will require somebody to be readily available to read and edit all written content for our website, as well as also contributing written work themselves. The Online editor’s typical duties will be: to read/edit written work/posts before they are posted online, manage/organise competitions, manage projects related to the website, work on new ideas from conception to development & execution, delegate tasks and control the day to day running of the website. The ideal candidate will be well-organised, able to work to deadlines, communicate well and cope under pressure, as well as be able to manage a variety of different people and personalities. Candidates must be able to prioritise, work efficiently and be readily available to liaise regularly with the management team. This role requires applicants to have daily access to a computer with internet.
